How to?
Our process is simple and convenient. You can simply follow these steps: 1. Register and login in to either our app or website 2. Click on Sell in our app or website and select mobile 3. Fill-up the pre-survey to get an estimate on the price of your device. 4. Choose your preferred selling option 5. Fill up your details and pickup/dropoff date 6. Our customer service agents will contact you to confirm the actual timeslot with you via whatsapp 7. Meet up with our courier agents/partners and get the final offer from them. 8. If you are satisfied with the final offer price, you can choose to sell and get immediate payment For extra convenience, you can choose to have the pickup at your doorstep and our courier agents will come to meet you at your preferred location.
If you have more than one device that you wish to sell, please place a booking for each device separately. Each device will be assessed individually, and you will receive an offer for each device.
You can download the Carousell app in the AppStore for iOS and in the PlayStore for Android. For Android, you need Android OS 5.0 and above. For iOS, you need iOS 11.0 and above.

Pickups and Locations
After registering and filling up our pre-survey, select the "at your doorstep" option then select your preferred pickup date. Afterwards, our customer service team will reach out to you via whatsapp to confirm the pickup time. (Preferred timeslot is subject to availability of our courier agents, so you may not get the exact timeslot indicated.)
Yes, please contact the customer service agent who reached out to you and indicate your preferred timeslot. We seek your understanding that timeslots will be subject to the availability of our courier agents.
The pickup location you set can be anywhere in Singapore (except restricted areas). Simply register and make a pickup request. Once confirmed, our courier agents will meet you there to conduct inspections and transactions.
Carousell always strives to be able to schedule a pickup as soon as the next day after you made a booking.
Once you meet with our courier agent, inspection, validation and payment should take less than 20mins.
That usually doesn't happen unless there are some unforseen circumstances. The Carousell team will update the pickup status in real-time so if there is a delay, please contact the customer service agent that reached out to you to schedule a new one if you are unable to wait any longer.

Data Related
Yes, we prioritise the security and privacy of your personal data. The platform has a strong security procedure to protect your information during the sales process. We also conduct data wiping once the device is back in the warehouse during the inspection process.
No, we advise you to delete all personal data from your device only after accepting our final offer price and choosing to sell. Also, if you didn't do this, it is not a problem as our technical team will wipe all the data available on your device after we accept the sold device.
Pricing/Grading
We assess the value of your device based on several factors, including its condition, age, model, and market demand. The assessment process is designed to give you a fair and competitive offer.
The price on the website is an initial estimate. At the time of pickup, our courier agents will do a thorough inspection of the device's condition and the results of the inspection will determine the actual price offered. Please be assured that our process is transparent and any difference(s) between what was entered on the website and the inspection will be clearly indicated. There are no obligations to sell based on the final offer, you may choose to sell your device to us only if you are satisfied.
Your device's condition will be assessed based on several criteria as follows: 1. Physical condition of devices 2. Functions of your device, such as touch screen, speaker, battery life, etc.
Fees/Payments
No, all pickup and inspection services from us are free of charge.
Once you have agreed to the price offered by our courier agent during the pickup, the payment process usually only takes around 5 - 10 minutes and payment will be made directly to your paynow account immediately. Our courier agent will ensure that the payment has been received by you first before taking the sold device.
Miscelleneous
Unfortunately, device models not found in our app or website are not being accepted by us at the moment. We only accept the device models listed on our website or app.
It is not required, but you may choose to provide us one if you would like to.
Yes, you may sell your device to us without the charger.
Yes, our participating partners have offline stores across the whole of Singapore.
Sorry, we do not accept devices that are completely spoilt. The device must have a functioning touch screen and be able to install the Carousell app for us to run diagnostics.

Damaged devices within the warranty period can still be sold as long as the screen is functioning properly and the device can install the Carousell app to run our diagnostic process.
We buy various models from popular brands. If you have an iPhone, Samsung, Oppo, Google Pixel, or other well known brands, you can sell it through this service.
You have to download the Carousell app to schedule an appointment. Furthermore, it is for diagnostic purposes such as checking your device's internal system features.
Sorry, at this time we do not buy devices that have been imported from other markets (i.e. export sets).
Yes, you need to create an account in Carousell to schedule a pickup by our courier agents.
